Younesse Alami

A native of Morocco, and being the youngest of 10 children, Younesse would spend much of his childhood at huge family gatherings. The home he grew up in continues to serve as a venue for family events and weddings to this day. Those experiences early on set the stage in developing his keen eye for detail and innate gift of event planning.

In 1994, adventure and passion for pursuing his career landed him in New York City, where his first employer offered 5-Star service and catered to celebrities and royalty including Queen Noor of Jordan. In 2001, he moved south to attend the University of South Carolina and earned a Master’s Degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management.

Upon graduation he moved to Charleston, immediately joining the team at the famed Francis Marion Hotel. Ever seeking advanced opportunities and experiences, he progressed to the Charleston Marriott and has served there as Director of Catering Sales for the last 12 years.

For the last two decades, he has amassed diverse, high-level professional event planning skills that hold his clients' vision first. A pristine record of accomplishment, delivering valued celebration experiences that last a lifetime and reflect the unique personalities of those lucky enough to call him their event planner.
